This policy explains how Cordane Print Co LLC, a Texas limited liability company ("Cordane Print Co," "we," "us"), handles personal information collected through cordaneprintco.com (the "site"). Our contact details are at the end of this page.

Information we collect

Information you give us

Quote requests. Your name, business name, email address, phone number (optional), what the part is for, quantity, a description of the part, measurements and notes, and up to two photos or files you upload.
Reviews. Your name, business name, city or location, email address, star rating, the product, your review, whether you received a free sample, and your consent to publish.
Chat assistant. The messages you type, the page you are on, and a random session ID. Anything you choose to share in the chat, such as your name, contact details, or project details, is included.
Email and phone. Whatever you send us when you contact us directly.
Orders. If you order from us, the details needed to make, ship, and invoice the order, such as your name, contact information, shipping address, and what you ordered. This site does not take payments.

Photos can contain embedded details, such as when and where they were taken. We do not use that information. If you prefer not to share it, remove it before uploading. Please do not send sensitive information, such as government ID numbers, payment card numbers, or health information, through our forms or chat.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the site, your browser sends standard technical information, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the page requested, and the referring page. Our hosting provider receives this to serve pages and protect the site. Google receives similar information when the site loads its fonts. We do not use analytics tools, advertising pixels, or tracking cookies.

Categories of personal information

In summary, we collect identifiers and contact information (name, email, phone, address), business information, content you submit (part descriptions, photos, files, reviews, and chat messages), order information, and technical information (IP address and browser details). We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal data.

How we use information

To respond to quote requests, questions, and chat messages.
To prepare quotes and to make, ship, and support orders.
To publish reviews you give us permission to publish. A published review shows your first name, business and city if provided, rating, review text, and a note if you received a free sample. We never publish your email address.
To keep track of the parts and products customers ask for.
To keep business, tax, and accounting records.
To protect the site and our forms from spam and abuse, and to meet legal obligations.

We do not use personal information for targeted advertising, and we do not use it to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.

How we share information

We share personal information only with service providers that help us run the site and the business, and only for the purposes above:

Netlify hosts the site, receives and stores form submissions and uploaded files, and emails submissions to us.
Akismet (Automattic), used by Netlify, checks form submissions for spam.
Google provides our business email, where form submissions and your emails arrive, and serves the site's fonts. Google states that its fonts service does not set cookies and does not use this information to build profiles or for targeted advertising.
n8n runs the chat assistant's automation.
OpenAI generates the chat assistant's replies from your messages.
Airtable is where we track requests and orders, including requests made through the chat assistant.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a sale or transfer of our business. Reviews you allow us to publish are visible to anyone who visits the site.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising.

Cookies, tracking, and Do Not Track

The site does not use cookies. The chat assistant stores a random session ID in your browser's session storage so your conversation stays connected while the tab is open. Your browser clears it when you close the tab.

We do not collect information about your activities over time and across other websites, and we do not knowingly allow other parties to do so through our site. Because we do not track you across websites, the site does not change how it works in response to Do Not Track signals or similar browser settings. There is no sale or targeted advertising to opt out of.

Purchases on Etsy

If you buy from our Etsy shop, Etsy collects and processes your purchase information under Etsy's Privacy Policy. We receive the order details we need from Etsy, such as your name, shipping address, the items ordered, and your messages, and use them to fill and support your order as described in this policy.

Shipping and returns

Shipping. Everything is made to order and ships in 3 to 5 business days. US orders under $35 ship for a $5.99 flat rate by USPS Ground Advantage. US orders of $35 and up ship free. We can also have your order ready for free pickup in McAllen, TX.

Returns. Unused stock items can be returned within 30 days of arrival. Custom pieces, made to your request, can't be returned, but if one arrives damaged or defective, send us a photo within 7 days of arrival and we'll replace it or refund you. Contact info@cordaneprintco.com to start a return.

How long we keep information

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes described above, including tax, accounting, and legal requirements. Published reviews stay on the site until you ask us to remove them.

Security

The site is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and access to submissions is limited to accounts we control. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

The site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Your choices and rights

You can use the site without submitting a form or using the chat, and you can always contact us by email or phone instead. Wherever you live, you can ask us to:

Confirm whether we have personal information about you, and give you access to it.
Give you a copy of the information you provided, in a portable format.
Correct information that is inaccurate.
Delete your information, including removing a published review.
Opt out of the sale of personal information, targeted advertising, or profiling. We do not do any of these.

How to make a request. Email info@cordaneprintco.com with "Privacy Request" in the subject line, call (216) 202-2693, or write to us at the address below. To protect your information, we may ask you to confirm your identity, for example by replying from the email address you used with us. You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. We will respond within 45 days. If we need more time, we will tell you why within that period and may take up to 45 more days. Requests are free of charge up to twice a year. We will not treat you differently for making a request.

How to appeal. If we decline your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision or by emailing info@cordaneprintco.com with "Privacy Appeal" in the subject line. We will respond in writing within 60 days and explain our decision. If we deny your appeal, you may file a complaint with the Texas Attorney General or the attorney general in your state.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the updated version on this page and change the effective date at the top. If we make a material change, we will also post a notice at the top of this page for at least 30 days.
